More than anything, the staff at the hotel were exceptional in every way. The hotel front desk staff also act as concierges and they really went out of their way to help with every need and question I had. I want to send special thanks to Marta, Jorge, Ruben and Sarah for their courtesy, kindness, expertise and warmth. The cleaning staff are amazingly efficient and kind and the staff at breakfast was also wonderful and friendly. I hope upper level management recognizes and appreciates the talent they have! The location is central and though the hotel is in a heavy tourist area, there are quiet, beautiful streets in the immediate vicinity that are primarily the domain of local people who are going about their lives. The price is fair and the facilities and amenities are thoughtfully conceived and presented. Management appears to be committed to not wasting plastic, energy and labor (there are none of the awful individual plastic bottles that are so often offered in hotels). I hope the hotel will maintain this standard.

The hotel is excellent for a short visit in Madrid. It's located in the very centre of the city just a short walk from Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace and the Cathedral. There are also lot of nice restaurants around and of course Mercado de San Miguel just across the street where you can find about 30 small places offering various tapas and drinks. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful (thanks Jorge and Aislinn). Our cosy room (307) was quite small, but had all you need for a few days visit: comfortable and wide double bed, minibar, desk and a spacious bathroom. The room was very clean as all the public spaces in the hotel. The breakfast was also good with quite a lot of warm and cold food including for example scrambled eggs, mini sausages, bacon, cold cuts, cheeses, veggies and fruits.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of options to choose from. We can not speak more highly of the staff here. They were always friendly and helpful. They were very kind to allow us an early check in and as we had an early departure they also kindly allowed us to enjoy the buffet breakfast early. The bedroom wasn’t huge but adequate space for luggage and separate area to sleep. We requested a quiet room and they certainly delivered. We never heard traffic noise or other guests. The shower was a good size but size of the bathroom was compact. The property is a short walk to Metro train stations and a 10/15 minute taxi ride from the Central Madrid train station. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Madrid. Highly recommended.

We were 4 adults with large suitcases, stayed at the family room with bunk beds, it was very spacious even with all the suitcases open on the floor. Comfortable beds and pillows, great shower with large towels. There's a safe and mini fridge inside the room. They have their own Parking at the same building, definitely a plus. I loved this hotel, will for sure recommend it and stay there again in the future!

Madrid is a very busy and noisy city and despite being right across from Plaza Major, this hotel remains calm and quiet. The staff are exceptional - professional, friendly and helpful. I'd also like to commend the room cleaning staff who do a splendid job. Breakfast is good and varied - eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, fruits, cheese etc. There's a little supermarket just next door - handy to stock up on drinks and snacks. Definitely recommend this hotel.
